أختي زعلانة مني لأنه أكلت لُقمة من الشوكلاتة تبعتيها الّي حاطتها بالتلاجة
My sister got upset at me because I took a bite of her chocolate that she had placed in the fridge
رفيقي أكل لُقمة من البيتزا وانا مش منتبه
My friend took a bite of my pizza when I wasn’t looking/paying attention
اخد شفّة
بدل ما ياخد احمد شفّة من كاسة أخوه, شربها كلها مرة وحدة
Instead of taking a sip from his brother’s cup, Ahmad drank it all in one gulp
سارة اخدت شفّة من فنجان القهوة السخنة وحرقت لسانها
Sara took a sip from the cup of hot coffee and scalded her tongue
