Hi Boris,

The word قدران is the اسم الفعل (active participle) for the verb قدر. It&#039;s more commonly used by Syrians and less so by Jordanians/Palestinians. 

For example, Syrians also say عرفان

Other similar words include عطشان  ,جوعان ,قرفان.
